There is one item, however, that directly appears in almost every Soulsborne game: the Moonlight Greatsword. This sword originated as a powerful and necessary weapon in one of the first King’s Field. Eagle-eyed fans are sure to have noticed the different variations of this weapon appearing in this series, and creator Hidetaka Miyazaki has surely included it as a homage to RELATED: Demon's Souls Demon's Souls is the spiritual predecessor to the Dark Souls series, and it has some notable features that have since been polished and used in the subsequent titles.
